Mail vergißt gelegentlich sein Layout. Keine große Sache, aber zunehmend .

Betroffen sind die zusätzlich gewählten Spalten (Größe, Anhänge), die Fenstergröße, die Ansicht der Unterordner, die Größen der einzelnen Bereich (Vorschau). Nicht betroffen ist die Symbolleiste. Die Zurücksetzung auf die Standardwerte erfolgt nur manchmal und nach meiner Beobachtung nur nach einem Neustart, nicht nach einem Abmelden. 

Was kann ich dagegen tun?
Wo werden diese Einstellungen gespeichert? Kann ich das manuell sichern und wieder einsetzen?

Das Layout kann ich anscheinend mit der com.apple.mail.plist sichern.

Ich vermute mal der Gedächtnisverlust lag am mangelndem Platz auf der Festplatte, bekam ich doch heute eine entsprechende Warnung.

Meine kleine Löschaktion gebiert gleich die näxte Frage.

Da war es wieder! Am Platz kanns jetzt nicht mehr liegen, habe über 10 GB freigeschaufelt. Die Rechte sind repariert ... Woran liegts?

außerdem stürzt Mail reproduzierbar ab, wenn ich in einer neuen E-Mail in der Kopfleiste links unter dem Dreieck "anpassen" auswähle. Hatte früher immer die Zeile "Antworten an" ausgeblendet und wollte das jetzt wieder so einstellen.

Ach ja: ich glaube nicht wirklich, daß ein Combo-Update ausreicht, wirklich alle Komponenten von Mail zu ersetzen.

Hatte ich zwar auch schon, ohne Probleme, im Einsatz, aber die greifen halt noch am tiefsten ins System ein.

Nach ersten Tests mit 10.4.7 gibts kein Abstürzen mehr bei Aufruf des "anpassen" Dialogs.

Das Layout überlebt aber weiterhin keinen Neustart.
